Street Address : 414 Bagot Street

https://www.stoneskingston.ca/audio/jewish/Abramskys-Coal-and-Wood.mp3

In the 1930s, this was the site of Benjamin Abramsky’s Coal and Wood. He was Joseph Abramsky’s cousin, and eventually left Kingston for Peterborough.

At least three Kingston Jewish families have been involved in the fuel business over the years: the Bennetts, the Abramskys, and the Rosens.
